Bio

Marika Holbus is a Milwaukee-based writer, filmmaker, singer, 

musician, actress, illustrator and photographer.  Her storytelling 

expertise makes her a unique asset in the arts and 

entertainment industry.

An alumna of Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Marika will graduate with a film production BFA and theatre minor from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee this spring.  She also paints and draws, and is pursuing studies in acting under Maureen Cashin-Bolog at Actor's Craft in Kenosha. Instruments of expertise include piano, guitar and bass guitar.

Since 2018, Marika has taught at J.K. Lee City Youth Martial Arts, an outreach program for children and families.  She simultaneously serves as City Youth's media coordinator, working in photography, videography audio and postproduction.

In her spare time, Marika enjoys bike rides and looking for four-leaf clovers.
